Honest and responsible assistance

What This Commitment Means

The 100% commitment concerns the handling of a designated donation received.

It does not mean that every request for welfare assistance is automatically approved, or that AICSS guarantees to raise the full amount requested. Assistance remains subject to the applicable programme rules, verification where required, authorised approval and available resources.

AICSS will not divert a designated sponsorship donation to its administration or unrelated official expenses. Any unavoidable external banking, statutory or third-party charge, where applicable, will be handled and disclosed in accordance with the approved policy and applicable law. Such a charge is not an AICSS administrative deduction.

If the stated purpose cannot be completed, or a balance remains, AICSS will deal with the amount in accordance with the donor’s stated terms, applicable law and the approved donation policy.

Frequently asked questions

Donation Transparency — Explained

Does AICSS deduct administration charges from a specific sponsorship donation?

No. AICSS does not deduct any amount from a designated sponsorship donation for administration, salaries, office costs or other official expenses.

Does the 100% commitment apply to every donation?

The 100% allocation commitment applies to donations expressly designated for a named beneficiary or a particular approved welfare purpose. General welfare donations are administered under the applicable charitable and financial framework.

Does making a donation guarantee that a welfare application will be approved?

No. Donations and welfare approvals are separate matters. Assistance is considered under programme rules, verification requirements, authorised approval and available resources. A donation does not create an automatic entitlement.

How does AICSS demonstrate that the donation was used for its purpose?

AICSS maintains appropriate receipt, designation, approval and banking or utilisation records, subject to privacy, confidentiality and applicable legal requirements.

What if the designated welfare need changes or cannot be completed?

AICSS will follow the donor’s stated terms, applicable law and its approved donation policy before dealing with any unutilised balance or change of purpose.
