Independent Pastors & Mission Workers · Family Participation

One calling. One family.
A community of care.

The proposed AICSS Independent Pastors Family Welfare Initiative is designed for individual pastors, evangelists and other eligible mission or church workers who wish to participate together with their families. It is an individual-and-family membership programme — not an organisational membership scheme.

Who may participate?

For individual ministry workers and their families.

Participation is intended for eligible individuals serving as pastors, evangelists, mission workers or other recognised church or ministry workers. An eligible applicant may enrol with the family members declared under the programme's approved family definition.

The programme is intended to bring independent and otherwise unorganised ministry workers into a common charitable welfare framework. It does not enrol churches, fellowships, NGOs, institutions or organisations as members under this initiative.

Important distinction: This page describes Project 1 — the individual and family welfare initiative under All India Christian Seva Sangam. It is separate from the institutional welfare programme for registered organisations and separate from the religious governance work of Church of Bharat.

Not enrolled as members under this initiative

Eligible individuals from such settings may apply personally if they meet the approved criteria.

Family participation

Membership is centred on the individual and family.

Individual pastors, evangelists, missionaries and other eligible church or ministry workers from anywhere in India may participate along with their families. The detailed definition of eligible family members will be issued by the Steering Committee.

Family registration

The family joins through an eligible individual applicant. The one-time registration fee is ₹1,000 per family. The Steering Committee will issue the detailed definition of eligible family members.

Monthly contributions continue for each month of participation.
Annual participation
₹300 / person / year

Contribution and welfare transparency: Family registration is ₹1,000 once per family. Each individual may choose ₹30 monthly or ₹300 annually, or the optional ₹10,000 one-time lifetime membership. Monthly and annual contributions are alternatives. Contributions support the charitable programme and its approved administration; they do not purchase or guarantee welfare assistance. Assistance is need-based, subject to eligibility, verification, approved programme rules, donations and funds actually available, and authorised approval.
Need-based welfare assessment

How support may be considered.

Membership creates a route to participate in the programme; it does not create an automatic right to receive assistance.

Membership & family record

Individual applies, provides required details and enrols eligible family members.

Need reported to AICSS

The participant may report a welfare need through the coordination arrangements announced by AICSS.

Verification & recommendation

Authorised representatives verify the circumstances and submit a recommendation with supporting information.

Review & possible support

AICSS reviews the verified need, programme conditions, available donations and funds before deciding whether support can be provided.

National coordination: The Steering Committee will appoint the necessary leaders to coordinate the initiative across India. Detailed responsibilities, reporting arrangements and authority will be communicated after the appointments and approval of the relevant procedures. No local leader may independently promise or disburse welfare assistance without authorised approval.
Common questions

Eligibility and participation explained.

Can a church or fellowship join as an organisation?

No. This initiative is intended only for eligible individual pastors, evangelists and other mission or church workers with their families. Institutional membership belongs to a separate AICSS programme.

Can a family member join without the primary applicant?

The proposed structure is family participation through an eligible individual applicant. The final policy should define whether and how a family member may remain enrolled after a change in the applicant's circumstances.

Does membership guarantee welfare assistance?

No. Assistance is not guaranteed. Every request is subject to verification, eligibility, programme conditions, donations and funds available, and authorised approval.

Who will coordinate the initiative?

The Steering Committee will appoint leaders to coordinate the initiative across India. Their detailed responsibilities and authority will be communicated after the appointments and approval of the relevant procedures.

Can I pay contributions personally?

This initiative is designed for individual-and-family participation, with contributions recorded against the enrolled applicant and covered family members through approved AICSS payment channels.

How do the contribution and renewal options work?

The family registration fee is ₹1,000 once per family. Each individual chooses either ₹30 per month or ₹300 per year. The annual option is renewed every year; the monthly option continues month by month. Alternatively, an individual may choose the one-time ₹10,000 lifetime membership. A lifetime member is not required to pay the regular monthly or annual participation contribution.

Programme governance: The Steering Committee will issue the detailed definition of eligible family members and the operating procedures for national coordination. Before accepting contributions, AICSS should ensure that the contribution schedule, receipts, accounting treatment, refund rules, welfare eligibility, verification process, approval authority and financial controls are formally approved. All assistance remains need-based and subject to lawful charitable purposes, eligibility, verification, available funds and authorised approval. No guaranteed or unlimited assistance is promised.
